About Stay Local Tools

Stay Local Tools is a set of simple online tools for images, PDF files, text and developer data. The tools run inside your web browser. There is nothing to install, and no account is needed for the basic tools.

For supported tools, your file is read and processed directly in your browser. It is not uploaded to Stay Local Tools servers for processing, and we do not keep a copy of it.

Every tool that works this way is marked with a Local Processing badge. If we ever add a tool that needs a server, we will say so clearly on that page.

Most online converters ask you to upload your file first. Your file then sits on a computer you do not control, and you have to trust a promise about what happens next. For a simple job like changing an image format, that step is not needed: browsers can do the work themselves.

Our goal is to make common file and utility tasks easy and private. You choose a file, your browser does the work, and the result is saved only when you press Download.
