How to Use
- Choose your subtitle file (SRT, SMI or VTT).
- Choose Delay subtitles or Show subtitles earlier.
- Enter the amount, in seconds or milliseconds.
- Click Apply Sync.
- Download the synced file.
What a fixed delay fixes
Sometimes every subtitle in a file is off by the same amount — for example, the movie starts two seconds after the subtitles do. A fixed shift moves every subtitle's start and end time by the same amount, which fixes this kind of timing problem in one step.
Earlier vs later
If subtitles appear too early, use Delay subtitles to push them later. If subtitles appear too late, use Show subtitles earlier to bring them forward. If the timing gets worse over the length of the video instead of staying the same, a fixed shift will not fully fix it — try the FPS Sync or Two-Point Sync tool instead.
